Huckleberry Designs makes "art you can wear." My jewelry uses found objects and organic materials to create pieces that evokes the natural world. My earliest works put animals at the center, a reflection of growing up in a rural setting and my time as a primatologist and zookeeper. Since then, my palette has evolved to incorporate industrial themes, like metal smithing and graffiti, that are layered onto my rural sensibility. My jewelry is bold, dramatic and designed for the woman who knows what she wants.
As a one-woman shop, I conceive, design and fabricate all the jewelry myself, using the best and most unique materials I can find. I use a variety of metal smithing & enameling techniques -- and am always experimenting with new ones. Huckleberry Designs jewelry is original work from start to finish! No two pieces are alike. All pieces are handmade. I even do all the packaging myself, my personal touch to guarantee that your jewelry receives the care and handling it deserves.
